Where’s the book? (The status)
The book manuscript is, by and large, complete. We had a setback in the publication method that we were pursuing, which means we are currently seeking a publisher. Our book proposal is out there, and we are waiting for a response.
What’s the Book all about?
The book is called The Good Steward
The Good Steward is a Biblical exposition of financial stewardship that provides easy–to–understand principles and applications that readers can implement in their lives immediately. The Good Steward helps Christians understand what God has to say in His Word about managing money, saving for the future, understanding wealth, and leaving an eternity-changing legacy. This includes guidance on properly transferring wealth to the next generation when the Lord calls us home. This book will help Christians become even better stewards. As they make wise decisions with their money, they can better provide for their families and leave a legacy of significance.
This book is a Gospel-centered alternative to Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace. While Ramsey’s book/program has helped millions of families prioritize their spending and pay off debt, The Good Steward offers the next steps to growing, managing, and thinking about wealth in a God-honoring way. Where Ramsey may unintentionally lead his readers to a greater love for wealth and possessions, The Good Steward helps readers keep an eternal perspective with their wealth.
The Good Steward seeks to equip current and future stewards to honor God with their wealth and see His kingdom fully funded for Gospel ministry.
What needs to happen to get the book published?
At this point, there are a number of steps that need to take place in order to get the book in your hands.
- Compliance approval, manuscript editing (You know, the fun work).
- Publisher to pick it up (This is where you may be of some help!)
